§ 3.2. Compensation.

The board members shall receive as compensation for their services such amounts as the board may determine, provided that no salary increase approved by the board shall be effective during the term of such board. The salary in effect upon chartering shall remain in effect until changed by the board. No member of the board shall be appointed to any paid office under the county government during the term for which elected and for one (1) year thereafter. In addition to a salary, members of the board may receive reimbursement for reasonable expenses incurred in the conduct of county business.
