§ 5.1. Fiscal year.

The fiscal year of the county shall begin on the first day of July of each year and shall also constitute the budget and accounting year. Except as provided for in this charter, the provisions of title 15.2 of the Code of Virginia shall control the preparation, consideration, adoption and execution of the budget of the county.
