§ 6.13. Department of economic development.

The department of economic development shall consist of a director and such officers and employees organized in such a manner as may be provided by the county administrator. The department shall be responsible for administering a comprehensive economic development program which focuses on attracting new businesses to the county and expanding existing businesses. In addition to these duties, the department shall perform such other responsibilities as may be assigned by the county administrator or board of supervisors.
