§ 14-22.1. Designation of police to enforce trespass violations.

The owner of real property in the county may designate the Chesterfield County Police Department as a "person lawfully in charge of the property" for the purpose of forbidding another to go on or remain upon the lands, buildings, or premises of the owner as specified in the designation. In order to be effective, any such designation must be in writing on a form prescribed by the Chesterfield County Police Department and must be on file with the Chesterfield County Police Department.
