§ 15-47. Renewal of franchise.

(a)

Upon application of a grantee a franchise may be renewed by the county pursuant to procedures established by the board, provided those procedures do not conflict with applicable federal law.

(b)

If a renewal of the franchise is denied, and the county acquires ownership of the cable system or effects a transfer of ownership of the cable system, any such acquisition or transfer shall be at fair market value.
