§ 15-205. Refusal of drivers to make trips; preference in response to service requests.

(a)

No taxicab driver shall refuse to transport any passenger to any part of the county or to the City of Richmond or Counties of Henrico and Hanover; however, no driver shall be required to drive to any place when it may be physically detrimental to the vehicle or when it may endanger the safety of the driver or passengers.

(b)

Every certificate holder and driver shall give preference to calls or other requests for taxicab service in the order of their receipt.
