§ 16-31. Application; fees.

(a)

Each application to vacate a street, alley, road, easement, public way, plat or portion thereof pursuant to Code of Virginia, § 15.2-2271 or 15.2-2272, shall be submitted to the right-of-way office for administrative review prior to submission to the board of supervisors. Such application shall be made on forms provided by the right-of-way office.

(b)

In addition to the estimated cost of advertising the notice of the public hearing to consider the ordinance to vacate, the applicant shall pay to the county an application processing fee of $100.00 for each application submitted hereunder.
