§ 18-8. Prevention of water shortages and wastewater system overloads.

The board of supervisors may provide for mandatory or voluntary conditions and restrictions which limit the use of utility services in order to prevent water shortages or wastewater system overloads. The county administrator may also declare interim conditions or restrictions on water or wastewater use subject to the approval of the board of supervisors at its next meeting after the declaration by the county administrator.
