§ 18-23. Service or meter for outside water consumption.

  • (a)

    Water consumers who also receive wastewater service may obtain a service connection and meter for outside water consumption by paying the connection fee set forth in section 18-22(b), (c)(1) and (2). Water supplied through a meter for outside water consumption shall not be used inside of a building or structure and shall not be discharged into the wastewater system.

    (b)

    Residential water consumers who also receive wastewater service may obtain a residential meter to measure outside water consumption by paying the connection fee set forth in section 18-22(c)(3). The meter shall be installed on the same water service line on which the meter that measures all other domestic water consumption is installed. Water that is supplied through a residential outside meter shall not be used inside of a building or structure and shall not be discharged into the wastewater system.
