§ 18-67. Creating tax assessment and development utility districts.

The board of supervisors may wholly or partially pay for the cost of extending the utility system by creating a tax assessment district pursuant to Code of Virginia, § 15.2-2404 et seq., or a development district pursuant to Code of Virginia, § 15.2-2243. Any such district that the board creates shall be created by an ordinance that shall not be set out in this Code but that shall be kept on file in the office of the director.
