§ 3-44. Certain acts not deemed "consideration" in prosecutions under article.

  • In any prosecution under this article, no consideration shall be deemed to have passed from the following activities, as long as no purchase or payment is required in connection with the activity: (i) any person's being at the other person's premises; (ii) the execution, mailing or delivery of an entry blank; (iii) a person's answering questions, verbally or in writing; (iv) any person's witnessing one or more demonstrations or other proceedings.
