§ 4-12. Confinement in certain areas.

  • The ownership, possession or control of any pigs is prohibited if they are confined in an enclosure located (i) within one-quarter mile of any city boundary, (ii) within 200 feet of a church, school, public meeting place or private residence, or (iii) within 50 feet of any public road. This section does not apply to any pig confined in an enclosure located more than 200 feet from a private residence except that of the owner; provided that this section shall apply if any private residence is established within 200 feet of a pig enclosure subsequent to the confinement of any pig in the enclosure.
