§ 9-189. Criminal penalties for violation of article.

Any person violating or failing to comply with any provision of this article shall be guilty of a class 3 misdemeanor. However, if the amount of tax due for any quarter exceeds $1,000.00, any person failing to remit such tax when due or failing to file a return for such quarter shall be guilty of a class 1 misdemeanor.
