The proposed landscaping and maintenance will improve the image of Midlothian Turnpike,
which is the primary transportation and access road through the district. This project
will provide benefit to properties throughout the district. Customers, employees,
residents, and visitors to the businesses in the district form impressions of the
businesses and properties within the district based on the appearance and condition
of Midlothian Turnpike. Quality landscaping and a high quality of maintenance will
provide a positive image and appearance for the property and businesses within the
district.
This project will assist in sustaining this important business area and preventing
blight and deterioration.
