§ 15-71. Unlawful use of system.

(a)

Unless otherwise provided by federal or state law, no person shall attach or cause to be attached to any premises, equipment which allows access or use of the cable television service without payment to or permission from the grantee. The presence of such equipment shall be prima facie evidence of a violation of this section.

(b)

In addition to any other remedy available to the grantee under the franchise or applicable law, any person violating this section shall be guilty of a misdemeanor punishable by a fine of not more than $1,000.00.
