§ 15-72. Compliance with state and federal law.

(a)

Unless required to meet more stringent standards contained in this article or in the franchise agreement, the grantee shall, at all times, comply with all laws of the state and federal government and the rules and regulations of any federal administrative agency. If any term of this article shall become prohibited by any state or federal law, rule or regulation, the board shall, as soon as possible following knowledge thereof, amend this article and franchise agreement to comply.

(b)

A grantee shall not refuse to hire, discharge from employment, or discriminate against any person regarding compensation, terms, conditions or privileges of employment because of disability, age, sex, race, color, creed or national origin. A grantee shall comply with all federal, state and county rules and regulations regarding affirmative action and other aspects of employment with respect to recruitment advertising, employment interviews, employment, rates of pay, upgrading, transfer, demotion, layoff and termination.
