§ 16-17. Duty of owner of a building.

The owner of each building shall obtain the proper building number and attach the number to the building. No building permit shall be issued for a building until the proper building number has been issued, and no certificate of occupancy shall be issued until the proper building number has been displayed in accordance with this article.
