§ 18-147. Penalties.

Any person who knowingly violates any section of this article or allows a backflow prevention method, assembly or device to be removed, bypassed, circumvented or inadequately maintained, or if an unprotected or inadequately protected cross connection to remain uncorrected after the expiration deadline, shall be guilty of a misdemeanor and shall be subject to a fine of not more than $2,500.00. Each day that the violation continues shall be a separate violation.
