§ 18-146. Violations.
(a)
The director shall send a notice of violation by certified mail to any building, structure or property owner found in violation of any section of this article. The owner shall correct the deficiencies within 30 days of receipt of the notice. Any certified letter not accepted by the owner shall be deemed to have been received within ten days of mailing.
(b)
If the owner fails to correct the deficiencies by the deadline, water service to the building, structure or property shall be denied or terminated. Water service shall not be provided or restored until the deficiencies are corrected to the satisfaction of the director; and
(c)
If the pressure in the county potable water supply system is reduced to ten psi or lower, the director may take whatever action he deems necessary to ensure that the county potable water system is safe from pollution or contamination.
